Our Philosophy

Mannville Preschool and Playcare Society creates a space where kids can be active, curious, creative, and expressive while exploring their environment.

Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that children learn best through play. Through hands-on experiences, children develop social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills in a way that feels natural and engaging.

We encourage curiosity, creativity, and confidence while providing a safe and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Early Learning and Child Care Act

Our program provides accessible, inclusive care focused on children’s safety, well-being, and development. We work closely with families and community partners, including Mannville School, to support children with diverse learning and unique needs.

Our Program Goals

  • To support children’s overall development (social, emotional, physical, and cognitive) through play-based learning

  • To provide a range of engaging, age-appropriate activities and experiences

  • To encourage independence, confidence, and problem-solving skills

  • To build positive relationships‍ ‍and open communication between children, families, and educators

  • To offer opportunities for children to explore their environment and community

  • To promote ongoing growth through staff collaboration, observation, and reflection
